OVERVIEW
ARD (Audio Reactive Dome) was designed to be an intimate and immersive space that transports the attending guest into a parallel universe in that incorporates the concepts of duality, both space and time.
MISSION
ARD is meant to transport your busy mind in a state of relaxation through hypnotic visuals and spatial sound design, ensuring no space is left untouched. This can be achieved by incorporating systems that have the ability of tracking live movements in order to control the immersive lighting. Movements such as the frequency of motion, hand motions and head motion, and in the future, gestures which may control the frequency and intensity of light beams and custom fog machines.
STRUCTURAL DESIGN
Inspired by organic anatomy and sacred architecture, the vertical spine of ARD integrates modular truss elements that act as both support columns and audio-visual channels. Each rib along the inner curvature is mapped with intentionality—designed to hold programmable fixtures, directional lighting, and audio-responsive sensors
STRUCTURE
ARD’s dome shape structure houses a 10 ft vertical tunnel that serves as a space warm hole, generating audio visual images through the tunnel thanks to LED panels that are implemented on the walls, connected to a controller allowing for real time programming thanks to Live Audience Data (LAD).
WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT ARD?
ARD utilizes live audience data (LAD) for real time light and haze programming. This allows for a one of a kind experience as you will have direct effect on the visual outputs based on your dance moves. You light up the dance floor.
+ARD is equipped specialized cameras which are then connected to Tough Designer, where all custom visuals and lighting components are houses.
