ARD is meant to be a tool which allows audiences to truly power the vibes of the event simply through its movements, such the frequency of motion, hand motions and head motion, and in the future, gestures which may control the frequency and intensity of light beams and custom fog machines.
OVERVIEW
ARD (Audio Reactive Dome) was designed to be an intimate and immersive space that transports the attending guest into a parallel universe in which incorporates the concepts of duality, both space and time. Within the dome there lies a 10 ft vertical tunnel that act as a space warm hole, generating audio visual images within the tunnel thanks to integrated pockets allowing for the placement of LED panels placed between. The LED panels output the received real time data being produce from the crowd.
Audio visuals have the potential of being at the forefront of breakthroughs in storytelling at music events thanks to recent innovations that has taken place within the tech industry.
STRUCTURAL DESGIN
Inspired by organic anatomy and sacred architecture, the vertical spine of ARD integrates modular truss elements that act as both support columns and audio-visual channels. Each rib along the inner curvature is mapped with intentionality—designed to hold programmable fixtures, directional lighting, and audio-responsive sensors
Embedded within the dome, there lies a multi-tiered Sound System using large-format bass speakers for tactile vibration
Embedded fixtures are housed within the radial trusses and follow the arc of the dome. Each segment is aligned to project beams and waveforms inward toward the core. Directional speakers are mounted between trusses pulse audio in sync with light, creating an enveloping spatial rhythm
MODULARITY
The embedded truss system is designed to allow for modularity. Based on the venue size and a limitations. If anchor points is not a feasible option for support the ARD. ARD is able to alternatively stand on it own through 4 vertical trusses evenly spaced out. In which also support LED panels to be attached onto them in order to hide the truss and allow for immersive rather than obstructing the space with 4 vertical trusses.
